RFID Cloning and SDR Radio Analysis
Exam done as a team of three, combining two physical/radio security disciplines: cloning an RFID/NFC Mifare Classic card, and analyzing a radio signal via SDR (Software Defined Radio). Done together with two classmates, Nagib and Ismael.
Context
Practical exam from the M1 Information Security curriculum, covering the security of short- and long-range radio technologies. Done as a team of three, with each member contributing to both parts of the exercise.
What was built
- Cloning of a Mifare Classic card: full dump in
.mfdformat, compatible with Proxmark and mfoc tooling. - A GNU Radio Companion flowgraph built for capturing and demodulating a radio signal on the 433-920 MHz band.
- SDR hardware (HackRF, RTL-SDR) used for signal reception.
- A structured submission documenting the methodology for each part of the exercise.
